Millie Stanley Smith Millie Stanley Smith - President

Ms. Smith has 30 years experience in the healthcare industry, including the formation and management of her own consulting & placement firm, four years multi-facility management, and 20 years in hospital administration. Her areas of expertise include recruitment, facility ‘turnarounds’, acquisitions and divestitures.

Consulting Experience

Ms. Smith formed Interim Health Partners, LLC (IHP) in Dec 2002. Consulting engagements have included senior management roles of CEO, CFO, and COO; senior management mentorship roles; acquisition and divestiture liaison roles; and coordinator of ‘turnaround’ situations. In 2006 Ms Stanley Smith ‘came off the road’ and added the permanent recruitment component to the existing interim placement business. Over the last six years she has contracted with most of the major ‘for profit’ chains and has also assisted ‘not for profit’ facilities in their interim and permanent recruitment needs. She has developed network affiliations with other independent recruiters, offering her clients a larger pool of qualified candidates and her candidates a wider selection of employers, locations and opportunities. She has filled recruitment needs of clients in AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MO, MS, NC, NM, NV, OK, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WA

Industry Experience

Prior to forming IHP, Ms. Smith had multi-facility responsibility with Hospital Corporation of America, NetCare Hospitals and Ardent Health Services, with facilities in GA, AL, MS, MO, CA, NC, WV, TX, NM, KY and LA. Before moving into a multi-facility role, she worked 20+ years with HCA (HCA/HTI/COL), in Florida and Texas. This 20 year period of single facility management covered six hospitals, and offered progressively larger hospitals and responsibilities, culminating with West Florida Hospital (approx 600 beds) in Pensacola, FL.

Stephen Patz Stephen (Steve) Patz, FACHE - Permanent Recruiter

Mr. Patz has 30+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. He began his career as an associate administrator in Michigan. Subsequent CEO promotions positioned him in the northeast US for most of his career – MI, PA, NJ and OH. In 1995 he was recruited to FL. He ended his CEO career in Chicago, IL and returned to Florida in 2005. During his Senior Management career he directed a myriad of facilities: single hospitals and hospital systems; small facilities and facilities with 950 beds; for profit hospitals and not for profit hospitals; community hospitals and teaching hospitals.

In 2006 Mr. Patz joined Interim Health Partners, LLC as a Permanent (vs Interim) Recruiter. His vast senior management background lends itself to a complete understanding of his client’s needs. He ‘pushes the envelope’ for his candidates; utilizing his open communication style, his perseverance and his strong negotiation ability. He strives for a win-win. Mr. Patz is adept at properly preparing his candidates for the interviews and meetings with the client; offering client background, facility information, role specifics, and other pertinent data that will assist the candidate in awareness of the client and knowing what to expect as the ‘hot buttons’. He works tirelessly to match the ‘right’ candidate with the ‘right’ position.

In his current Florida location, Mr. Patz has served as the VP of the North Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. From a professional perspective, he was awarded the prestigious “CEO of the Year” by OrNda Health Care.
